The Evans Center Fire Company is proud to announce their community based fire safety program: “Fire Safety by the Slice!” which delivers firefighters and their fire safety message right to your doorstep.

This year’s Fire Prevention Week (October 8-14, 2006) theme is “Watch what you Heat!” which focuses on cooking and kitchen fires.

In cooperation with Evangola Pizza located at 8923 Erie Road in the Town of Evans, Evans Center Firefighters and their Explorer Post 528 will deliver one random order to a lucky Evangola Pizza customer every Wednesday evening during October.

Even Greater Grant News:
The Department of Homeland Security announced today-October 6th that Evans Center was the first fire department in Erie County to receive a federal grant for $95,000+ for new SCBAs. Details to follow shortly.
