Firefighters Train for Hi-Rise Attack

MidTown - May 13, 2003 --- Under the leadership of Erie County Fire Instructors Mike Tuberdyke and Mike Kluck, 12 Evans Center firefighters took advantage of hi-rise fire training at Erie County's Chestnut Ridge facility.

Firefighters trained in SCBA use, search and rescue, and fire attack in the multi-story training tower structure, built similar to a senior housing complex in Evans Center's district.

Participants included: Firefighters Bob Corsi, Don Badeszewski, Bruce Green Jr., Amy Hamm, Scott Lashua, Geordie Sinclair, Kevin Snyder, Harry Watkins and Scott Wheeler; Chief Dennis Allen, Capt. Tiger Schmittendorf, and Lt. Mike Relosky.
