New Officers to Lead Team in 2004

Bruce Green Jr. was elected Fire Chief for the first time, replacing Dennis Allen who has served as chief since 1997.

Tim Szczepaniak retained his position as First Assistant Chief and Tiger Schmittendorf was promoted from Captain to Second Assistant Chief by virtue of the election. Both Green and Schmittendorf were assistant chiefs previously.

Vince O'Hare was re-elected as captain of the Fire Police Squad.

Geordie Sinclair was re-elected to his second term as president and will be joined by his wife, Tammy Sinclair as Vice President. Lynne Potoczak was elected treasurer and Robert Zamrok was elected Director.

The new officers will be installed at the fire department's annual dinner on January 24, 2004. Carl Russo, radio personality from WGR-97 Rock will be the master-of -ceremonies. Russo is also chairman-of-the-board of the East Seneca Fire District in West Seneca, NY.
