MidTown – Town of Evans NY – May 9, 2004 --- Firefighter/Paramedic Laura DeJoy will represent Evans Center in two upcoming media events.

Lori was tapped by Carl Russo, chairman of WNED's Great TV Auction to be an auctioneer, appearing on Wednesday-May 12th from 6-8pm. She will help auction off donated items to raise funds for this local PBS station as well as promoting fire company programs.

Russo and DeJoy were introduced while Carl was serving as master-of-ceremonies for Evans Center's installation dinner in January. Russo is a radio personality on 97Rock and a volunteer firefighter with the East Seneca Fire District.

Lori's photo also appears in posters and print ads in the Buffalo News for WNY Firefighters Day on June 2. This will be a day for the public to offer their appreciation and support for firefighters, both paid and volunteer across WNY.
